Challenge

 A Global Oil & Gas Company contacted us regarding AV capability in their Aberdeen offices.  After deep engagement to understand their issues we recommended  AV upgrades in 5 sites throughout the UK.  We established that the Company would benefit from a service and maintenance contract to resolve previous response time and customer support issues.

 

Solution

We upgraded AV equipment on all 5 sites, a total of 120 rooms, including an LED Wall. Initially two AV technicians worked on location 7 days a week; towards the end of the project we deployed three teams of 2 technicians working nightshifts 5 days a week.

Due to the size and complexity of the install we created BOMS (Bill of Materials) for each room. Our AV technicians populated this with Serial and Model Numbers as and when each room was completed for warranty and audit purposes.

Once the AV Upgrades were completed, we then agreed the service and maintenance contract with our client.  Due to the size of the completed project and the amount of AV equipment installed we recommended a fulltime on-site technician, which the client approved.

Our next step was to complete an audit on each piece of equipment in every room throughout all sites.

A Senior AV Technician worked out of our client’s Headquarters Monday to Friday, as our client’s first point of contact.  Their responsibilities included creating and presenting AV Equipment proposals, ordering of stock, installing equipment and dealing with any on site issues.

Result

We have successfully retained this client and are now working with them on their move to their new Headquarters building.
