Challenge

We were approached by a major global Oil and Gas exploration operator with hardware and connectivity issues.

The client wanted to make meeting rooms more user friendly and to allow for remote participants, whilst minimising service disruption due to Coronavirus restrictions.



Solution

We surveyed all rooms at the client’s offices noting dimensions, wall and ceiling makeup, power and data availability and anticipated room usage.  After analysis we developed two room designs, a medium and large room, which simplified ordering, installation and maintenance. All rooms had the same connectivity and control to simplify user training.

The client wanted to replace an old projector-based system with a modern form of display on one wall for in depth geological survey analysis. We specified and supplied a 138” LED HD video wall.

Work on this large project was completed on schedule within three months.

Result

Users quickly discovered how simple the system was to use and were impressed by the continuity between rooms – the connection and meeting process is identical everywhere in the client’s offices.

Since completion we have continued to work with the client and have been involved with several other new projects.
