Position Overview: 

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving business growth and forging strategic partnerships. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our client base, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth. 

Qualifications: 

  • 3 years of experience in business development or sales roles, with a demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth. 
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders, with excellent communication and negotiation skills. 
  • Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset, able to develop and execute effective business development plans aligned with company objectives. 
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. 
  • Proficiency in CRM software (HubSpot) and Microsoft Office suite. 
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, industry events, and conferences. 

 

Key Responsibilities of the Role: 

Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify potential areas for business expansion, including new markets, industries, or customer segments. 

Lead Generation: Generating leads through various channels such as networking, cold calling, attending industry events, and leveraging online platforms. 

Relationship Building: Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to understand their needs and preferences.  

Proposal Development: Collaborating with internal teams to create compelling business proposals and presentations tailored to the needs of potential clients or partners. 

Negotiation and Closing Deals: Leading negotiations and closing deals with clients or partners, ensuring that agreements are mutually beneficial and align with the company’s objectives. 

Sales Strategy: Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to meet revenue targets and drive sustainable growth. 

Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Utilising CRM systems to track interactions with clients, manage leads, and forecast sales pipelines. 

Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborating with internal teams such as marketing, product development, and finance to align business development efforts with overall company goals. 

Performance Measurement: Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of business development initiatives and identify areas for improvement.
